GrAdUaTiOn!!!

Hooray! I finally did it! I graduated from BYU-Idaho and am now doing my student teaching in Las Vegas, NV! My mom, dad, step-mom, grandpa, and grandma were there for my big day and I could not have been more happy. We had a great time and I absolutely loved seeing my family! Here are some pictures from the big day! Sorry that the formatting of them is weird but I don't understand how to format them in a way that looks nice. This is the only part about blogging I hate I need tutoring for it.

Red Robin

Hey! It is so cold here in Idaho, and I officially do not like driving in the snow! Anyway, my roommates (and Sterling) and I went to the new Red Robin in Idaho Falls on Saturday to take a break from homework and have fun. We had really good time and were supposed to go ice skating but that never happened. If you know me then you know that I was not too disappointed about this because even the tiniest bit of ice will make me slip and fall. Other than that not much is going on in my life. I am working on my senior practicum right now before student teaching and I am currently in a 3rd grade classroom. I think that I am really going to like it. Here is a picture of us the other night. From right to left: Kortney, Jari, Brenna, Sarah, Sterling, Me.

New Years 2009!

So we decided to go to Disneyland for New Years this year. Boy was that a mistake! The lines for even some of the unpopular rides were at least 75 minutes long. I expected long lines but not that long. I think that it is safe to say that I will never do this again! I have gone for other holidays because I am an annual pass holder but I have never seen it this bad. The parks closed their doors at noon too because they hit capacity and wouldn't let anyone in. Still we had a fun time, we took my little cousin with us so that I could have someone to go on rides with. I was originally supposed to meet a few friends from school but that fell through because my friends father passed away 2 days before Christmas. I send my love and prayers to her and her family. I hope that 2009 is a better year for friends and family than 2008. I've never been on for resolutions but if I had to make one then I guess it would be to serve others more and to be the best daughter, sister, friend, and teacher that I can be. Here are some pictures from our vacation. Enjoy!

I survived Christmas 2008!

Well, I survived Christmas and it wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. I was a lot different than it has been in the past due to the poor economy, but it was fun none the less. It is always fun to be with my wacky family. Here are some pictures from Christmas eve at grandpa's and Christmas day at my Aunts. I am only in 1 photo because I was taking all of them! I got lots of gift cards to o shopping with and a heated seat gadget for my car!! :D I hope it works!!

Christmas Cookies

Hey! I know that it has been a while but I am done finally with my fall semester, and I am looking forward to only having two classes this next semester before graduating! I am so happy to be home right now. My mom gave me an early Christmas gift a bigger and better Kitchen Aid mixer. Since then I have been baking up a storm. Here are some pictures of me and my friends hanging out before the end of the semester.

By the way, here is a picture that my aunt made for me when I was about 4. I think that I am going to put it on my t-shirt! :)
